Once again, back to the topic of ‘shrines’. Here’s a really nice one I have found recently at 静思書軒… along the food street (aka Smith Street) in China Town.
I suppose the place didn’t need such publicity, but other than the toilet, the place is really cozy and it serves good tea at reasonable prices. That’s not mentioning that the staff is friendly and service standards are pretty good..
So, please patronise the place, and no, I am not encouraging you to just go there for the toilet.

Addendum 【July 2010】
The place has closed down a year or so after this blog post. I had forgotten about this post and only a recent visit reminds me that I should post an update.
I am not worthy! I am not worthy! 😛
I have patronised this “shrine” before. When you sit on the toilet bowl and look down, you really feel like you’re sitting on a throne and looking down at your subjects.
