The above is the top 10 posts on ping.sg in the last 24 hours. As you can see, 3 posts about the Borg Queen (aka xiasuay) topped the lists. The news of her flamming 7 other bloggers has set Blogosphere ablazed. (I hate people setting fire to forests!)
Even one of the evening Chinese tabloids reported the news yesterday on the flame war between the Borg Queen and ex-Singapore Idol contestant Maia Lee. I have no intention to further report about who she flamed and her ongoing flame war with them, but let me make my stand clear – Maia! Not because she can sing well, pretty, had a tattoo of an eagle on her back, almost got married with Sylvester Sim etc… but because * music * She’s got the Boobs! without needing Adobe Photoshop.
The ongoing flame war has induced much negative energy into Blogosphere and rinaz suggested that instead of commenting further on the matter or join in to flame the Borg Queen, we do exactly the reverse and talk about the 7 blogs that we liked. Above which, I was also tagged by Wishbone to keep it going.
So here are the 7 blogs I liked:
- Merv Kwok – A guy who presents his experiences in his own special humorous way.
- Rude Singaporeans – Where you find specimens of ungracious Singaporeans out there.
- ‘Chinese Craps’ – ChillyCrap’s Blog in Chinese. There aren’t that many people around who expresses their thoughts seriously in Chinese. A rarity in Singapore.
- Mr Brown – Another humorous blogger whose satirical postings about current events in Singapore caused him his column on TODAY. You either aren’t Singaporean or you are a boot licking Tali-PAP lackey if you don’t read Mr Brown.
- The Keropok – For those who love photo blogs. The Keropok Man takes very nice pictures of Singapore and interesting things he sees.
- Cloudywind – Yet another photo blog. (Yes, I like to look at photographs and not the me-me-me blogs or those bloggers who attempts to be ‘controversial’ or ‘outrageous’.)
- Malique – Last but not least, Malique. A special blog in its own class, where a blogger expresses himself with style and substance.
I am supposed to tag 7 more people, but I don’t know enough people on ping.sg well enough to tag them. So forgive me, Wishbone.
PS: Everyone knows what a Borg is right? Someone like xiasuay would definitely love to be the Borg Queen so she can get the nice body of the actress acting as the Borg Queen. Or at the very least, that of a Borg called Seven-of-Nine. * LOL *
Cloud.. Your blog was recommended to me by my colleague… so there’s 2 person in the same company reading you. 😀
