In between writing all those not so flattering posts about Nuffnang, I had not really paid much attention to its rival Advertlets. But after some consideration, I have decided to host Advertlets to my blog – www.nowhere.per.sg.
While it is almost certain my insignificant blog ‘would not even be a blip on Advertlets radar’ at all, I felt there is no point to continue flogging the carcass of a dead dog – i.e. the matter of Nuffnang’s ‘questionable’ practices – when its entrails has been seen flying all over blogosphere for the past few weeks. In fact, with the efforts of the blog Why Nuffnang Will Fail, it makes one wonder if there’s anything left on that carcass to flog at all. Above which, it is my personal opinion that we should let ‘Why Nuffnang Will Fail’ take matters to the brink and see who will blink first in this matter.
Meantime, it appears that Nuffnang has adopted the policy of not answering bloggers as a corporate entity. Personally, if advice from reputable bloggers and fellow entrepreneurs like Aplink, Cobalt Paladin and even Paddy Tan is not making any impact to Nuffnang’s behavior, then Die Endloesung ‘The Final Soultion’ for aggrieved bloggers with regards to Nuffnang’s contempt would simply be to vote with their feet. And as for new bloggers looking to host ads, it is best they use the services of its competitors until Nuffnang, as a corporate entity, gives a satisfactory explanation to their ‘questionable’ practices.
Simply put, let the free market play the role of natural selection and may the fittest survive.

cc> 如不是已奄奄一息之物,一遍草草的文章又如何会有落井下石之功能?
lol, you don’t have to step on the person to make him sink deeper in deep shit.
paddy> Just me talking about Bak2U’s timely responses ‘beyond the call of duty’.
dk> Yes. Action speaks louder than words at times. And it’s time bloggers consider their next course of action.
You don’t need to write negatively about Nuffnang. Your actions already said alot.
Looking for me? hahah!
cc> No hard feelings. Just voicing my opinion that’s all.
haqrry> I’ll leave the flogging to the hands of professionals like you. 🙂
rachel> there is no need to use very strong and offensive words to get the message across at time.
dk> I will probably not write negatively about Nuffnang anymore. There are rumors alleging that those who blog negatively about them are people out to get them. And it is even worse when I have no dealings with Nuffnang previously. I had originally thought the very fact I had not deal with them would at least not make me appear biased but apparently it is now giving the wrong impression.
IZ Reloaded> Wow. Thanks. The only other person who gives me a response that quick is Paddy Tan and his team from Bak2U.
Darth Grievous: Welcome to the club mate!!! Don’t worry. I’ll make sure that your blog and others like yours are blipping Advertlets’ radar.
Now… that is another blow to Nuffnang.
Hahaha!! *siam a piece of entrail* A good piece of humourous article to start the day. 🙂
There are plenty left to flog Sir.
yup it’s a free market, so why bother so much about hard feelings?
welcome to the dark side…
