This post was inspired by Eileen’s as we were discussing about injured digits on the ping.sg shoutbox.

As you can see from the pictures below, my last finger on the left hand looks a little crooked and swollen on the joint because it dislocated during a fight in my primary school days. At the time of injury, it swelled to the size of my thumb, and the pain was so bad my entire hand was trembling. (This is one of those things you never forget.)

Unfortunately it didn’t heal very well, so that’s why it looks like it swollen at the first joint nearest to the hand. [See comparison with right hand last finger.] And here’s the best part: From time to time, it still trembles on its own as if it remembers the days when it’s still painful…
