I nominate the following as the Picture of the Year 2007. This happened in Taiwan and if I remembered correctly, they subsequently shot the crocodile to death, so the arm could be retrieved. (Too bad it wasn’t Chen Shui-bian’s) The arm was then rushed to the hospital and re-attached back to its owner. It was a ‘happy ending’ for everyone, except the croc. * Photos are from National Geographic. |
